November 30th vs. St. Nicholas
The 5th and 6th Grade girls won their first game with a big win over St. Nicholas. The team was lead by high scorers Ashley Harris (8 points) and Marlena Arrigale (4 points). St. Richard also played outstanding defense led by Mikelya, Gianna Renzi and Ashley Harris. Great job girls! The JV records stands at 1 win 2 losses.
St Richard JV Girls play at St Joe’s Fieldhouse
Several of St Richard girls attended St. Joseph University ball handing clinic. The girls were asked to show off their talent that the St. Joseph vs. Rutgers game on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. The girls played an exhibition game during half time and also performed ball-handling drills during the time outs. Players for St Richard’s were: Madison Grubb (K); Samatha Dabbundo and Alexandra Arrigale (3rd Gr); Allison Grubb, Erica Brown, Lexie Santarelli (4th Gr), Ashley Harris (5th Gr) and Marlena Arrigale (6th Gr). Congratulations to all participants.
November 19th vs. St. Gabriel
Another close game for St Richard's JV girls. First period St Richard's had the lead 4 to 0 with great play by Samantha Conte. The game went back and forth. Late in the game with less the 1 minute left, St Gabe's took the lead and won the game 14 to 10.
November 16th vs. Sacred Heart
The girls started out with the lead against and very good Sacred Heart team. The scoring was lead by Marlena Arrigale and Gianna Renzi. We fell behind in the 2nd half and loss the game 18 to 12.
