November 30th vs. St. Nicholas
The rivalry game took place on Friday, November 30th at Tolentine Rec Center. The game was played in memory of
Dan Perrello, a long time teacher and athletic leader at St. Nicholas school. We should be very proud of our St.
Richard girls JV and Varsity teams, who donated toys and money at the game in Dan’s memory for Operation Santa Claus.

St. Richards started out the game with good defense led by Jennie Filipello and Maria Duca. Jackie Burke was the leading scorer and played aggressive with 3 steals. Tisha Santarelli and Gabe D’Adamo hit the boards and led the rebounding with 5 each.
St. Richard’s lost the game, but we are very proud of their effort.
November 19th vs. St. Gabriel
St. Gabe’s looked very tall coming on to the court. However, an early lead coupled with tenacious defense by Maria Duca helped St. Richard girls win their first victory of the season. The final score 20 to 14.
November 16th vs. Sacred Heart
After Sacred Heart had an overwhelming lead in the first half, St. Richard girls made a late comeback in the game lead by Ashley M. and Jennifer Filipello. We lost the game but made a great effort in the 4th quarter. The final score was 35 to 23.
