Monthly Parish Lottery

The Monthly Parish Lottery is a joint venture between St. Richard Parish in South Philly and St. Anselm Parish in the Far Northeast. Each parish will be selling 500 tickets every month for a combined total of 1000 tickets. The lottery serves as a fund raising event and purchase of a ticket helps to support the finanical needs of the parishes. We thank you for your support and wish you the best of luck!

Seller Information

Tickets must be purchased from a parish seller. Once we have established a list of sellers we will post their contact information here for your convenience. The list will comprise sellers from both St. Richard and St. Anselm parishes.

Eligibility

The Monthly Lottery Drawing is open to all legal residents of the United States, excluding U.S. territories, who are 18 years of age and older.

How to Enter

Tickets can only be obtained from a seller and cost $10.00 each. A list of sellers and their contact information can be found on this webpage. Complete all of the requested information on the ticket and return to seller.

How to Play and Selection of Winners

Each ticket contains 3 numbers from “000” to “999” for a total of 1000 possible entries, and is valid for the month listed on the ticket. Tickets must be received by the Parish along with payment by 11:00 AM on the 1st of the month in order to be eligible for the mid-day lottery drawing that day and everyday thereafter for the month printed on the ticket. Tickets purchased or submitted to the Parish anytime after 11:00 AM on the 1st of the month will be eligible for the next mid-day drawing to take place after being received by the Parish and are ineligible to collect winnings for prior drawings that occurred before the ticket was submitted to the Parish. The winning ticket(s) will be based on the MID-DAY drawing of the Pennsylvania Daily Number.

Prizes

A total of $100.00 in prize money will be awarded each day based on the MID-DAY drawing of the Pennsylvania Daily Number. If your ticket matches the MID-DAY drawing of the Daily Number (i.e., is played straight), you win a $50.00 cash prize. One day each month will have a SPECIAL (e.g., Mother’s Day, July 4, Christmas Day, etc.). If your ticket matches the MID-DAY drawing of the Daily Number (i.e., is played straight) on the date designated as the SPECIAL, you win a $100.00 cash prize. If your ticket when played “boxed” matches the numbers for the MID-DAY drawing you win a $10.00 cash prize. For tickets with three of the same number, (e.g., 111, 333, 777, etc.) there are no “boxed” combinations. In the event that such a number is drawn in the MID-DAY drawing the winning ticket will be awarded the entire $100.00 cash prize. For tickets with two of the same number, (e.g., 220, 404, 588, etc.) there are only two “boxed” combinations aside from the “straight” ticket. In the event that such a number is drawn in the MID-DAY drawing the ticket matching the Daily Number (i.e., played straight) will win a $50.00 cash prize. The two “boxed” tickets will be awarded a cash prize of $25.00 each. Prize money will be mailed directly to the winner in the form of a check using the name and address provided at the time the ticket was purchased. In the event that a winning ticket is unsold at the time of the drawing, no prize money will be awarded for that ticket.

Privacy

All personal information submitted via the ticket entry will be used for administration of the lottery only. All participants’ contact information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances and will not be used for any solicitation or marketing related activities by the Parish. The names of winners will be posted on a weekly basis in the parish bulletin.

Winner Notification

Winners will receive their winnings in the form of a check from the parish that they purchsed the ticket from. Winners do not need to contact the parish regarding their winnings as winnings will be mailed directly to the winner using the address provided on the ticket stub when the ticket was purchased. Prize money will be mailed out to winners every Friday. Please allow seven business days to receive your check before contacting the Parish. If you have not received your check in seven business days you may contact the Parish you purchased the ticket from using the information below.
